Strategic Marine is one of the pioneering Aluminium ship builders both in Australia and internationally. In association with Southerly Designs they have built and designed over 270 vessels, of which 140 of these vessels were delivered to Military and Para Military organisations worldwide.

The organisation is more than just a shipbuilding company and prides itself on pre and post sales support provided to clients. Some of the maritime and logistic solutions that Strategic Marine has provided clients include; project management, training and documentation, financial planning and ship broking.

The Western Australian based organisation is an international shipbuilder with a global support network ensuring that all delivered vessels have efficient through life support. The company has further developed the global business plan with the development of shipbuilding facilities in Australia, Singapore and Vietnam.

Strategic Marine’s primary markets include; the Offshore, Military, Para-Military and Fishing industries. Some of our most recent successes include:

• A contract to build 65 Vessels to the Singapore Police Coast Guard, this contract consisted on three vessels: a 10 metre Fast Patrol Vessel, an 18 metre Fast Pursuit Craft and a 20 metre Fast Command Vessel.
• Malaysian Royal Police – 15 vessel order for 22.5 metre Fast Patrol Vessels
• Contract to Nigeria for 25 landing craft 10 metres in Length.

The key to Strategic Marine’s success in winning government contracts has been the willingness to transfer technology to the purchasing country, delivering significant social benefit and an enhanced industrial capability to the purchasing nation.
