Our batteries are specifically designed to meet the discharge requirements of our customers. Design flexibility ensures that PMB can purpose build quality submarine batteries to order and meet tight delivery schedules. Pacific Marine Batteries has consolidated a broad knowledge base from all aspects of Submarine, deep cycle, remote area power battery technology, and innovative thinking, to produce battery designs which consistently out-perform conventional battery systems.

Strategically located in the heart of South Australia’s world class, “ Techport Australia” maritime precinct, we are well placed to also service the forthcoming Air Warfare Destroyer Project.

The PMB facility opened in February 1991. This $10 million manufacturing plant is still arguably the most modern of its kind in the world, combining the latest in battery design and manufacturing technology with tight environmental, Safety and Quality control. PMB is accredited as a Strategic Defence Recognised Supplier.

Ongoing consultation with our customers ensures they receive full technical and logistical support for our product and that our products keep pace with their changing needs. We operate in partnership with our customers to provide the best service and support possible.

Monitoring Equipment:
Pacific Marine Batteries also supplies monitoring and operating systems, incorporating ‘Time to Run’ data, and logging systems, to ensure that the user can operate and maintain his battery in a safe and efficient manner. Parameters monitored include voltage, electrolyte level and temperature of the electrolyte.

Other ancillary products include systems for cooling, agitation and maintenance of the complete battery system. Our technical support includes ongoing performance analysis, reporting and maintenance planning.
