DEFENCE INDUSTRY AUSTRALIA - ALLIANCE

THE PURPOSE

Develop and execute national and international Marketing strategies for SME’s active in the Defence sector.

THE AIM

• Provision of appropriately themed and badged exposure at Avalon Airshow, Land Warfare Conference, Australian Homeland Security, Security in Government, The ABDC conference and other conferences and exhibitions that the alliance wish to attend.
  
• Attendance at international and SEA regional trade shows including DSEi, IDEX, Dubai Airshow and the Asian Aerospace Trade Show.
  
• Co-ordination of mutual support between the DIA-Alliance and its consultants.
  
• Development and maintenance of members websites and corporate marketing material.
• Production of targeted marketing materials for members including an Export Capability Catalogue.
  
• Company Product & Services, News & Tenders etc displayed online at www.defenceindusty.com.au
  
• The production of an e-newsletter to keep the DIA-Alliance informed of future events.
  
• The maintenance of a small secretariat to provide a liaison link to government agencies including Austrade, DRSS and defence to common services required by the DIA Alliance.
  
• SME’s wishing to join the DIA Alliance will be asked to provide a short brief on their company and a description of their products and services.
  
• Costs: An annual fee (subject to annual review) will be levied to cover basic secretariat services.
